Poll Media

Telegram Bot API 10.0+ allows attaching media to polls: to the poll description, to individual poll options, and to quiz explanations.

Attaching Media to Poll Options

Create a poll with NewPoll and assign media to individual options using the Media field on InputPollOption:

Attaching Media to the Description and Explanation

You can also attach media to the poll description (Media) or to the quiz explanation (ExplanationMedia):

Supported Media Types

The following media types can be attached to poll options:

• InputMediaAnimation (NewInputMediaAnimation)
• InputMediaLink (NewInputMediaLink)
• InputMediaLivePhoto (NewInputMediaLivePhoto)
• InputMediaLocation (NewInputMediaLocation)
• InputMediaPhoto (NewInputMediaPhoto)
• InputMediaSticker (NewInputMediaSticker)
• InputMediaVenue (NewInputMediaVenue)
• InputMediaVideo (NewInputMediaVideo)

Local file uploads (FilePath, FileBytes, FileReader) are automatically serialized via attach://poll-media-%d and uploaded as multipart form data.
